"You can take your lunch break, you still have the time," Adam said and left her. She was right, it was better if she did not ask him. Adam directly went up to his office. He was not angry at her, he was not used to the topic. But he was curious, why she asked something like that.
"Adam." It was John inside his office waiting for him.
"Hi, Uncle John," Adam said and take his seat, firing his laptop. John chuckled because Adam just called him uncle like he was 10 years old.
"What is funny?" Adam asked not realizing the slip of this own tongue.
"Nothing." He did not anymore tease him. He was sure it was just a slip, but he can say, he is not any angrier at him.
"What's the deal?"
"It's not about business, Adam," John said seriously, and Adam focused on him.
