"Good morning, coffee for you." Angela greeted Adam cheerfully.
"Good morning." His reply glancing at her quickly then back to his laptop screen.
"Is everything alright?" Angela tried to act casual.
"Yes." His answer.
"Is there anything more you need? I'll be sending the second half of your schedule for today."
"No." He continued to type on his laptop. She decided to leave him but when she is at his door, she can't help to ask.
"Is your mom, okay?" She asked because last night, they don't have the chance to talk to Claire.
Adam finally looked at her and gave her a smile.
"Yes." His short answered again and Angela started to get irritated. What's with yes and no today. Adam sensed her mood, so he stands up and pinched her cheeks with both hands.
