“Where are we?” I asked, the question burning on my lips, and his smile only widened, while my confusion grew deeper.
We were in front of a rather gigantic mountain with no sign of life, and as much as I was part beast, I wasn’t ready to fully survive with that side of me.
“Do you trust me?” Micah asked while flashing the most devastating smile, utterly ruining me because I could never say no to him.
“I have already trusted you with my life and heart, Micah, so yes, I do.” My response earned me a rare smile, one that had a tiny dimple peeking at his cheeks, and my eyes widened.
The man was beautiful, but his heart was even more so.
“Come on.” Micah said, tugging me towards the mountain, and I leaned on him, letting him lead us towards an opening.
