I cried until there was nothing left in me anymore. My voice had gone hoarse as I bore my heart out, and Sera had held me through it. Her hands moved in slow circles on my back, comforting me until the sobs had quieted to sniffles. I allowed myself one more moment of weakness and pressed myself fully into her, breathing in her scent, before removing myself from her hold. “Thank you.” I breathed out, unable to look her in the eyes.
