I woke up to the cheers of the pack; my vision swarmed, my head spun, and I blinked, trying to make sense of the images my brain was cramming. My body screamed with every breath I took, my mind a chaotic blur as I processed things around me. I blinked again, the blurred images slowly merging into solid pictures, and I could finally see where I was. I was seated in the clearing, my hands and feet tightly bound to a chair, and the ropes dug into my skin. It was almost surprising how they had managed such a feat to drag me without waking me up.
