“Uhh…I thought you had a meeting” I said, I actually wanted to remind him that he had been acting off towards me but I didn’t want to do that in front of everyone. The fact that James was the boss here didn’t make things any easier for me. The room always grew silent whenever he entered, people were either too afraid to even move a muscle when he came in or they wanted to hear what he wanted to say. In this case, they wanted to hear what he wanted to say because Isabella had already spread the rumor that I was no longer the boss’ favorite.
