MAXS POV
I woke up feeling like my head was about to split in half. I couldn’t open my eyes because the light was too bright but as soon as I started moving someone held my hand. It wasn’t Lilly and that instantly upset me. Why wasn’t she by my side? The last thing I remembered from when I was captured was Lilly holding me and sobbing before my mind went completely black. The fact that she wasn’t here made me a little paranoid and now I was wondering if jakes had taken her.
But that couldn’t be, I had heard a gun shot right before Lilly approached me and helped me up. There was no way that she had died. Instead of killing myself with curiosity I decided to just ask the person who was here where Lilly was.
