LILLY’S POV
I woke up the following morning dragging to go to work. I knew that things would be awkward between me and James because of what happened and I wasn’t ready to face him. I didn’t know what I was going to say to him and I wasn’t sure of how to behave around him. I wasn’t sure of how James would behave today but I really hoped that he wouldn’t try to blame what happened on me. I tried my best to not blame what happened on him even though it really was his fault
I knew that Isabella was going to pick up on the tension and she was probably going to use that as an opportunity to try to convince James to fire me. She had been trying very hard to get him to do so but so far it hadn’t worked.
