MAX’S POV
It had been a few days since we killed Grant and James hadn’t really taken the news of Grant’s death the way that we had expected him to take it. Luca had been the one to tell me that Grant was James' right-hand man and yet it seemed as if James wasn’t even bothered by his death. I was even beginning to wonder if he knew that Grant was dead and Luca assured me that he did.
I told Luca to keep an eye on James and everything business that he had so that we would be able to anticipate his next move but according to Luca, James had just been going on about his daily life as if nothing had ever happened.
