"My name is Monica," she smiled sweetly, before punching him across the face. His head whipped to the side, blood dripping from his lips instantly, and he let go of Monica's hand. Growls erupted throughout the restaurant, as all their eyes blazed an orange, while Monica's simply widened in fear. She used their initial shock to dash out of the restaurant, but instantly regretted her move when she ended up in a dark street.
There was hardly anyone around, and she quickly scanned her surroundings. Growls came from behind her, and she started to run without daring to look back. She muttered curses under her breath, as she could hear them follow her, and get closer and closer. She desperately wanted to transform to increase her speed, but she could not, one of the side effects of pregnancy. H
