A tear escaped Monica's eye, her gaze fixed on the ceiling.
"He was punished for something his father did," she whispered, closing her eyes.
"Who?" Tyson asked, raising his eyebrows. She was laying on the bed, on her back, whilst he was sitting beside her with his legs crossed. She held onto his arm for comfort, mindlessly tracing circles on the back of his palm.
"Hayes," she replied. "His father turned a human, and tried to kill her."
