“This can’t be!” I had to be hallucinating! Did I take medicine, I madly tried to think back to what I was doing before I returned here. I wished I could hold him. I missed him!
“Leo?” I asked calmer.
“Yes, beautiful. I am here.” He walked up to me, taking my hand and held it.
“You aren’t a ghost!? You are really, really here!” I started crying.
“Yes, my beautiful wife. I am really, really here. Esmeralda told me that you were having a hard time. We have very limited time, but it is possible for me to see you for a couple of minutes every so often,” Leo explained. I thought he was gone forever. I jumped into his arms, breathing in his scent, not wanting to ever let go. Tears ran down my cheeks while he stroked my hair.
“You have no idea how much I’ve missed you!”
