I rolled my eyes at Dominic, but he didn't even flinch as he finished securing my seatbelt. Once he was satisfied that I was locked in, he shut the door and moved to the driver’s side.
We headed to Moss Hill Waterfall Pack first. It was the furthest away in the estate, and the path we used was quite bumpy and windy. The forest surrounded us, and I couldn’t help but feel thankful for the seatbelt as the car was dancing around on this kind of uneven ground.
“This forest is beautiful,” I said quietly, almost to myself. “Coming from the city, I’d never seen anything like this.”
