Chapter Twenty Four
Once all the gods leave I head to my kitchen to see what the food situation is. I know from abundances of stories and myths that gods eat, but I don’t know if they have to or if they just like to.
I check my fridge to see that it is, literally, fully stocked. Meats of various sorts sit packaged in the freezer, and the fridge is full of fruits, vegetables, yoghurts, and all necessary ingredients to make just about anything.
“This is f*****g awesome” I whisper.
“Yeah, it is” I hear Lucifer’s voice from behind me. I jump from fear before spinning to face him.
“You need to stop sneaking up on me! It scares the living s**t out of me!”
