Lucifer POV
It honestly took everything inside of me to stay calm and not forbid her from ever coming with me again, but it was the right thing to do. Right now she’s staring at me with adoration in her eyes, presumably due to my response, and it’s too overwhelming for me to process.
Being loved and completely accepted is way over my head. I mean, I am loved. I know that. I am family to almost all celestial beings, and we all love each other, but none of us- other than mates- can truly and totally accept each other.
And now that I get to experience that incredible feeling, I can’t get enough of it. I don’t even know how to thank her, so instead I kiss her.
