Chapter thirty two
As soon as I enter the dining hall all of the gods stand.
“Daughter” They all acknowledge simultaneously. Jesus, they’re very much in sync.
I take a seat at the front of the table, next to Aphrodite and Hera. Lucifer takes the head at the opposite end of the table, Ares sitting next to him.
The first course of the meal is served, a delicious and mouthwatering Greek salad. As soon as we all finish and are waiting on the second course, Aphrodite speaks.
Ares and Lucifer are deep into their conversation at the other end of the table, so she has to be loud.
“Everyone, please give your attention. We are here to discuss how training today went, and that we shall do. Now. We’ll go in the order of Ares, me, and Hera. Ares, please begin.”
Ares bows his head.
