As they looked down over the rise, Neivayka was struck by how familiar the town they were in looked. Or maybe, all the small towns were beginning to look the same, she wasn't sure.
It had taken them a lot longer to get to the Grove than Neivayka had anticipated. But Theo had insisted on going through to every single town and speaking to them. “Show yourself and let these people know that there is hope" he had insisted. She had tried her hardest to refuse, but Theo wouldn't take no for an answer. In the end, she had relented, mainly because he had a point.
She would never admit to that, however.
“So, where are we now?" she asked, finally staring down at the wooden homes and town square.
Theo raised an eyebrow at her tone. “Don't you even recognize home?"
