She waved a hand in front of the sun, and it blinked out, leaving the beach so dark the water wasn't even visible. Then with a flick of her wrist, the light came back, blazing bright and burning away the shadows. Just as she had said.

Iola smiled, then stood and dusted the sand off her white dress. “Well, then we shall simply have to send for you."
Neivayka scoffed. “You don't even know where I am."
Iola gave her a secret smile before disappearing into the ocean without another word. Feeling exhausted once again, Neivayka curled up on the warm sand and closed her eyes. The rhythmic pounding of the waves soon rocked and lulled Neivayka into a deep sleep.
