Natalia: Madeline didn’t answer right away. And for a moment, I had wished that I did not ask her the question. For a moment I found myself debating on why I did. Truth be told, I did not know what to expect. She just stared at me like she was trying to decide whether I could handle the truth or if I was still too new, too fragile.
