  The blanket and mattress eventually got moved onto the wooden bed.   Grandma pulled out a festive old bedsheet and duvet cover for Fiona - decorated with a pair of lovebirds by a pond - and helped her put them on while grinning from ear to ear.   "Don't mind that it's a bit old," she said, chuckling. "This set was handmade by me back when your grandpa and I first moved up the mountain. I embroidered every stitch of those two birds myself. We never had the heart to use it - it's been tucked away all these years. Even after he passed, I barely touched it-just aired it out on sunny days. But don't worry, it's clean. Really clean."
