“You are a worthless nobody,” Ava snickered at me, eying me with disdain. “Know your place.” “Uh-hum,” I retorted distractedly while looking my mate in the eyes. “If you say so.” I puckered my lips in an unmistakable sign, and he soon enough gave me a peck. “Is that what you call a kiss?” I c****d an eyebrow at him. “I’m not an exhibitionist,” he told me softly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. “Sharing a kiss can hardly be called as such,” I whined and pouted, making his smile falter a little bit.
