"Mom is kidding, right?" Allen stage-whispers as we walk out of the room. "Alton would never do such a thing."
"I want to believe that, but I'm having a hard time."

I shake my head as we walk into the kitchen, and I rummage through the fridge as I talk.
"Karina didn't r**e my girlfriend. She was sent by someone to spike her drink. All evidence is pointing to him."
