The condo is a wonder to behold.
No kidding.
It's spotless, spacious and it's extravagantly furnished.
I start to place my bag on the couch before Adam shakes his head at me.
"Your bedroom is right down the hall. I'll fix us something to eat."
"I'm not sure if I can keep anything down. I'm still a little bit nauseated."
"You have to eat something. Trust me you'll feel better after that. That guy will not come close to you again so don't sweat it out. Try and be strong. Okay?"
I nod.
"I'll be out in a minute."
"Take your time."
I push the bedroom door open and I step inside.
Wow!
If this is the guest room, then I don't want to imagine what the master bedroom looks like. I close the door before I walk further into the room.
