SONIA’S POV
When Anthony said we were going to his ‘place’ in Saddle River, I didn’t expect it to be this beautiful. It’s contrary to how plane he presented it to be.
It has a country home and a modern home feeling to it.
The slamming of a door pulls me out of my trance and I leave the car to join Anthony outside as he climbs the stairs leading to the front door.
“This place is really beautiful. How long have you had it for?”
“Since I was 17.”
We enter the house and I’m awed at the sight before me. It’s cozy and yet modern, just like the outside except this is ten times better.
“Come let me show you to your room.” He walks away, up the stairs and then disappears into a hallway. I follow closely behind.
