Applying his parking brake, John leaned over in his seat and kissed Molly. She kissed him back and ran her hands over him to get him to stay like that a little longer.
"Okay, let's go get settled." He told her after finally breaking away.
She hopped out of his truck, grabbed her bags, and linked her arm with his.
Approaching the desk, and immediately getting the attention of a staff member, Molly got them checked in.
"I have a room for two under the names Green and Acker."
"Yup, looks good." The attendant told them and checked to make sure their ID's and credit card number was the same. She informed them that there would be breakfast available to them, gave them the swimming pool times, and said that any movie rentals would be added onto their check out bill. They were agreeable with her and she turned away from them, telling them she would grab their keys.
John leaned his elbow on the counter and looked at his newly pronounced fiancé as they waited.
"Molly Acker has a nice ring to it, I think."
She twinkled as she thought about it and shared the sentiment, thinking how sweet he was to be envisioning her with his last name.
"I like it too." She told him, "Plus hopefully if people end up searching Molly Acker, not much will come up, unlike Molly Green."
He agreed and sobered himself, remembering that she was only there in the city with him because of her past life. He felt better about her meeting with Julien with an engagement ring on her finger, even though he didn't want to think about her ex and spoil their first evening away together.
The room was very classically made up with neutral colours and a big window with a wide balcony stepping onto a view of the city. There was a large TV facing the bed and in one of the nightstand drawers, in standard hotel tradition, there was a Bible. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of white nicely folded towels and tiny bottles full of citrusy smelling soaps and shampoos.
"I like the room." Molly said, still looking around.
"It is nice." John replied.
"So... do you want to have a chance to eat something before I have my way with you or can I get your blessing already?"
"Let's get something after, I'd hate to have a full tummy while getting such a workout."
She told him, taking his hands in hers and getting on the bed.
"Well, once I fill you somewhere else, you can show me a good place to order from." He said in his aggressively turned on voice, while crawling on the bed as well, and descending his body onto hers.
Kissing her enthusiastically before she could respond, he told her how attractive he found her. She was already pulling his sweater off when there was a knock on the door and John didn't bother putting it back on as he went to check who was bothering them.
As he opened the door, he saw a short woman with large green eyes, who looked to be between his and Molly's age. She had unkempt ginger curls, and several tattoos and piercings.
"Can I help you?" He asked politely.
The woman peeked past his broad torso and saw Molly sitting on the bed.
"Molly! I knew I saw you!" The woman shouted and waved.
Jumping off the bed, Molly ran to the door.
"Fox! You creep. Where did you even see me?"
John moved out of the way, giving them room to talk and went to look for the sweater that had been thrown somewhere near the bed.
"Oh, I was doing a 'house' call for a client of mine here in the hotel." She said pointing to her duffel bag that was full of tattooing equipment. "I was on my way out when I saw you in the lobby. I thought, hey, those tattoos look familiar. Wait. That whole human looks familiar... and I followed you."
Molly laughed and hugged her.
"Well, I was supposed to see you tomorrow, but I don't mind seeing you right now. Now, let me introduce you to the world's sexiest man alive." She laughed and told her to come in, then went and grabbed John's hand to bring him over to where they'd been chatting.
She presented him like she was a glamorous assistant on a game show by waving her hands in front of him. John hadn't seen her act this way before and didn't really know how to hold himself. He brushed his hand through his hair and tried not to be embarrassed. "That's quite the introduction already." He said a bit sheepishly.
Fox grinned. "Dang Molly, he's a tall glass of water for sure." She winked at John. "I'm Fox Kennedy. I've known Molly since... grade school? Wow time has flown."
Molly explained that they'd been childhood friends, that Fox had done nearly all of her tattoos, and that they even lived together for a while.
"Well, it's nice to meet a friend of Molly's. I'm her fiancé, John Acker." He said.
"No way!" Fox cheered, "I mean, don't get me wrong, Julien was good looking but just such an asshole. I never thought she'd get over him."
Molly shook her head and bit her bottom lip to get Fox to stop while she was ahead.
John rubbed his neck.
"Well, thanks, I guess? How about I let you girls catch up and I'll order a pizza or something. Anywhere you want me to go?"
Molly told him where the nearest pizza shop was and thanked him.
When he returned, he heard a buzzing sound as he entered the hotel room. Placing his key, and the pizza, down on the nearest table, he looked over to see Molly laying bare chested on the bed with Fox sitting close and leaned over her with her tattoo gun in hand, steadily working on something in Molly's cleavage. The nightstand was pulled closer to them and was covered in cling wrap and paper towels. There was a couple shallow plastic inkwells and a clear disposable drinking cup filled with water.
"Hey ladies... I see you're busy, should I come back later?" He asked.
"Nah, I'm almost done." Fox replied, "That pizza smells good."
John looked at Molly and saw her covered in goosebumps with erect n*****s that her friend was subsequently touching and leaning on. He couldn't peal his eyes away and wondered what image she could be getting etched into her skin.
"Sorry, Johnny, we figured that since Fox was already here, she could do my tattoo now instead of waiting til tomorrow. That way we have more time together as well." Molly said, turning her head to look at him over her friend's body.
"That's alright." He told her.
"Enjoying the view?" Fox asked with a sarcastic laugh.
"I am." He said simply while taking in the strangeness of the situation.
Molly blushed and Fox laughed. "Oh, Molly I like him."
"I like him too." She said, causing more giggling between them and making John smile as well. He never would've imagined being in a city hotel, watching a girl he proposed to only after knowing her for such a short time, getting tattooed on a bed by a complete stranger to him.
He took a seat at the table, still watching them, and opened the pizza box to grab a slice. Soon after the machine's hum stopped.
"Okay, just gotta wipe it down and dress it. You want to see it, lover boy?" Fox asked him.
John got up and watched the tattoo artist pour some bottled distilled water onto a paper towel and wipe away the excess black smudges and smears. Between Molly's breasts was an outline of a geometric bear's head in an equilateral diamond frame. It fit perfectly in her cleavage and he was feeling himself get slightly hard as she looked up at him, while gaging his reaction, and holding her breasts to cover her n*****s.
"I told you, I just didn't get it yet." She said with a slightly sultry voice.
"Is that... for me?" John asked, "You say that I'm a bear sometimes."
She nodded and smiled as she had to move her hands out of the way again so Fox could apply some Vaseline over the crisp lines and tape some thin plastic over it.
"Okay, I know she's hot and I probably walked in on you guys about to get busy, but be careful around that area now. " She instructed while turning her head toward John.
He couldn't help but groan at Molly's new ink and the thought of teasing her breasts tenderly as to not upset the tattoo.
"Ah, I think he likes it." Fox said, giving her friend a devious smile. "Don't worry about paying me, just give me some of that pizza and then I'll be out of your hair for the evening."
