-20 years later-
"Jack, please call my mom. I need her here with me." Avery told her husband while laying in a hospital bed, going through the active labour of experiencing contractions. Her water had broken about a day before, but the baby hadn't yet decided to make it's appearance to the open world.
He looked lovingly at his exhausted wife and squeezed her hand before getting up from her bedside to call his mother in law.
"Hello?" She answered sleepily.
"Hey, Molly, the baby is coming quick. Avery specifically wants you here. I'm not being very good moral support I guess."
She could hear the stress in his voice and got out of bed in a hurry.
"I'll be there right away. Tell her to stay calm and that we're on our way."
"Okay, thanks!" Jack said and she hung up before saying goodby
