“What do you mean by heat?” Kendra asked, an amalgamation of fear and confusion in her pain-filled eyes. “Heat as in the very one full wolves experience? But that is impossible.”
Kendra knew how the whole heat thing worked for complete wolves. It always fascinated her to no end, but werewolves didn’t get that. There had never been a recording of such a case anywhere in werewolf folklore or in any books.
“Well, I’m not completely ruling it out,” Aiyisha answered as she wiped the sweat of Kendra’s face with a cool, wet piece of cloth she had retrieved from her bathing chambers.
“I really don’t know why you’d find that surprising though, especially when prior to you two, we haven’t had any records of werewolves being blessed with the mate bond.”
Okay, Aiyisha had a point there.
