One thing was now certain- Lucien was completely oblivious about the relationship between Kane and Camila.
He was utterly clueless without even a single glimmer of doubt in them. He trusted the two of them so much he couldn’t even imagine something like that happening, my heart aching for him at the thought.
I couldn’t get the innocent look in his eyes when I gave him the gift away from my head. He looked so innocent. Fragile and vulnerable, I dared to say. If only he knew he had been stabbed in the back by two people he considered so close to him.
