ALISHA’S POV
“What’s going on?”
Before either of us could think of an answer to the question, another loud noise interrupted us, startling us once again.
“Open the gates! The Alpha is fake!”
In a jiffy, we broke free from each other, exchanging quick confusing glances as we rushed towards the window to get a good look of what was going on outside. We were indeed able to get a good view of the commotion, sighs of distress simultaneously escaping our lips.
There were about half a dozen men littered around the pack gate, all yelling and making angry agitated sounds. Immediately, I recognized a couple of them as Kane’s men, making it easy to figure out just what had happened.
“Release Kane!”
“Free Kane!
“Let our leader go!”
“Release him!”
Their screams grew louder and like mindless
