Camila and Kane had escaped.
My eyebrows were furrowed, a frown on my face mirroring the expressions of Alisha and Calum. We were all equally pissed, at a sudden loss for words at the turn things had suddenly taken.
Regardless of how much I tried to think things through, it made no sense. Camila and Kane’s behavior was nothing but an attempt to prove their point to us all. To remind us of the fact that they were ready to betray us and the pack at large.
