Our glasses were clinked, and cheers and applause were shared as we sipped our wine.
I smiled at the members of my committee, and I was more than grateful for their efforts.
With them by my side, the pack had been progressing, and I felt like an Alpha—a really progressive one.
Before my body swap with Alisha, I couldn’t remember the last time I felt that way.
Though I had always been the Alpha, a part of me had always felt like I was just the Alpha by title.
I wasn’t doing enough to deserve the position, but I finally felt worthy of it for the first time.
Felt like an actual Alpha who prioritized his people and the wellbeing of his pack before anything else.
