For a couple of days now, things had been very peaceful and quiet at the pack. And things between me and Alisha were no different.
Our relationship had somewhat changed after the incident with Kane. Though our paths barely crossed each other as I was always at the Omega training camp and her in the office, the few times we bumped into each other it was peaceful. We rarely quarreled and neither of us had any problems with the other.
I had stuck to efficiently working at the training camp most night and that night was no different. I was at the camp working till late hours to the point I didn’t even realize how much time had gone until I was notified by the pack Consul.
“You should go home, Luna,” he said to me with a soft smile. “We appreciate your work but you should rest.
