A few weeks flew by, and it was finally time for Diana and Bianca’s trial. They were charged with several crimes as the investigation uncovered a lot of felonies. My poor mother wasn’t the only victim. Diana had done tremendous damage to several people. Her desire for power was her main motive, but her actions were too evil to be true.
Kaid told me about the letter Alexander sent him, and even if we were skeptical at first, he had been of great help. In fact, he reported his father to the council, and he was facing an investigation. From the information I was given, he is detained in the council’s prison, and even if he tells everyone that he is innocent, the evidence provided by Alexander is too strong for him to avoid punishment.
At least that way, some of his victims could be found,
