Kailee's POV
I saw how Alex's body fell to the ground, and his eyes closed. A pool of blood started forming around him. It was too much blood for him to survive. I was frantic; I didn't know what to do; my mate was dying in front of my eyes. I ran to try to stop the bleeding, but my effort was in vain. Blood continued oozing from his wound.
"Kailee, please step aside!" Ivy screamed at me. I moved to see her scrunch next to Alexander. A light came from her hands, and I saw the wound closing.
I turned around to see what had happened with the people in the room. According to Esmeralda, they were the Alpha and Luna of this pack, but I didn't recognize the man. I came here to see if he was the one who abused me all those years, but his face wasn't familiar.
