Jennifer's POV
I woke up feeling refreshed and energized. I’ve never felt so good in my life; it was like I had slept for days. I opened my eyes and noticed we were still on the road, but it was weird that it was morning.
Huh? Shouldn’t we have already stopped at the motel? Killian said we would make several stops, but maybe he changed his mind and continued driving, if that was the case then I should take over. I am sure he drove all night and needs a rest.
“Killian?” I called him, but I didn’t expect him to look at me like he had seen a ghost and then smash the brakes.
“Baby?” He looked at me dumbfounded. “You are awake?” He said excitedly.
“Yes?” I said, not understanding what he was fuzzing about. I just went to sleep; there is nothing weird about it.
“My Goddess, finally!”
