"Hello aunt, hello miss?" I looked at the strangers before me.
"Oh! Yes, sorry, you don't know each other. This is my daughter, Hope," my Aunt Kailee said.
I couldn’t believe it; she had a daughter, one I had never seen in my life. Why didn’t I know about her? My Aunt has been part of my life since I was a kid; I knew the rest of her kids, so why didn’t they mention Hope? She had a huge mark all over her neck that looked like a chocker. It was black and looked like an ancient language written all over her neck. I could see an H on there. Was that a tattoo?
It didn't look like it. If my intuition was correct, it was a mate mark. Was she with her mate? Maybe that is why I haven't met her before, but that means her mother and father sent her with her mate when she was lit
