Scarlett quietly slipped the syringe into her pocket and went to the bedroom to call Elizabeth. Not long after, Elizabeth arrived and picked her up.
"You sounded urgent on the phone. What's going on?"
"Take a look at this!"
"A syringe? Where did it come from?"
"I found it in the trash. This is the third day in a row I've found one. I want you to help me figure out what kind of drug this is. And maybe get a full checkup too."
"You think Harpe is trying to poison you?" Elizabeth's expression turned serious.
"I'm not sure. It's just a hunch."
"We're going to the hospital now. Give me that - I'll have my brother run a test on it."
After a long day, they finally got the results. Other than a brain tumor, there was nothing wrong with Scarlett, which was a relief.
