I gaze at my surroundings the moment I step out of the cab. Holy crap! Reid sure has a taste for the fine things in life. The high rise building standing before me is one of the plushest apartment buildings I've ever seen. It stands proudly in the heart of the city, and overall, it's not meant for people who do not have a steady source of income. Reid must be doing better in life than I imagined. Knowing him though, I kinda expected him to have a home. Reid never hit me like a guy who loves apartments. He likes to own things, and a house would be on top of his priorities list. I start to tense when I feel strong arms going around me, but I instantly relax when his familiar scent engulfs my senses. Closing my eyes, I lean into him as he hugs me from behind. You are married!
