"Are you going to answer that?" Tiana asks me when my phone rings.
I just picked her from Nadia's. My plan is to get her home, give her a bath, then take a nap.
I'm so exhausted.
I glance at my phone, and when I realize that it's Reid, I hastily hang up. I'll call him back when I get home.
"Why didn't you answer? Who was that?" Tiana insists.
"Nobody. Hey, Tee?"
"Yes Mama?"
"Do you like Nadia?"
Her face automatically lights up.
"Oh my God! Nadia is amazing! She's so pretty, like a Disney princess..but prettier. Look at my hair!"
"It's so beautiful. What did you guys do?"
"Apart from the hair? Well, we watched Frozen, then we had some snacks and she helped with my drawing homework."
"You already did your homework?"
