"Do you mind holding the baby for a while? I need to take a shower."
That's Kate, and she has one of the twins in her arms.
I'm in my home office trying to get some work done before Tiana's party, but I just shrug.
"Sure."
She walks in and hands me the baby. When he grins at me, I instantly know that it's Adam.
He seems to like me a lot.
"Don't take too long. I have to be somewhere in an hour."
"Okay. Uh, Reid?"
"Yeah?"
"Maybe I should mention that your brother came back after you left last night."
I raise an eyebrow.
"He did?"
"He wants to bring me to the movies tonight. Mariana said she can stay with the twins. I hope you don't mind."
I want to say no; that the babies should be her priority, but I hesitantly decide against it. As long as my kids will be well taken
