Asher stares at me the moment I walk through the door. It's Friday early morning and I finally got off my lazy ass and drove to work. I didn't expect to find him talking to Mr Graham in the reception.
"Look who is here!" Mr Graham says with a smile. "It's been a long week."
"I'm back now."
"Are you feeling better?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." I smile back. "I'll just go catch up on work."
Asher grabs my hand when I make to walk past him.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Walking?"
His brow creases before he turns back to Mr Graham.
"We're done here."
He nods once, then he disappears into his office. Asher turns to give me his whole attention once it's just the two of us.
"What are you doing here?"
"I work here."
