I try Theo's phone one more time. Maybe twentieth time will be the charm.
He doesn't answer. In fact, the call doesn't go through at all.
Where the hell is he?
I'm trying to convince myself that Mia is not a match for him. There's no way she could have hurt him.
But why didn't he show up in court? And why on earth is his fricking phone off? He's a businessman so his phone is a big part of his career. It's not supposed to be off at any point.
I peep into Reid's office.
"Hey, I'm stepping out."
"Where are you going?" He asks, looking up from his computer.
"To meet a friend."
"What friend?"
"Oh, come on. This is not the time to play big brother."
"It's barely midday. I need my assistant at her desk."
"This won't take long at all."
"How long are we talking about?"
