I choose a dress carefully. I haven't been on a date with Reid in over six years so I don't want to look like a piece of work tonight.
Now that I agreed to go out with him, I might as well go all out. I miss dressing up; and I've been a total wreck these last few years, so I want to look and feel good about myself tonight.
I dry and curl my hair, and I carefully touch up my face. My once perfect skin still has a few bruises but the make-up does a perfect job at covering them.
I wear a short plum dress, white sandals and diamond earrings that I got from Nathan two birthdays ago. As a last minute thought, I pick the bracelet that Reid gave me from my jewelry box. I haven't worn it since we parted ways, but it's too beautiful and too expensive so keeping it in my closet is a waste
