"Macy?" I inquire with a slightly raised eyebrow.
"You know, Brian's crazy sister? The one with the kid?"

"I hate being his baby mama, but Carla is worth it. I can't believe your husband-"

I lower myself into a seat while she walks around the desk to her office chair. I keep my eyes on her, wondering how this even happened. I miraculously got a job with the lady that my ex husband was cheating on me with.
