Ivanna's stance.
“You are back?" she asked. "So soon?” Mother asked me as soon as I walked inside. I stood beside David, who was attending to my mate.
“Yes, mother. I finished them all,” I answered.
“So fast?" she inquired. "You didn’t disappoint me, child.” She held my hand, her eyes blinking with joy. “Thank you for protecting the kingdom.”
“You don’t have to thank me, mother. It is my duty to protect and guard my people,” I replied. I turned around and faced the healer. “Tell me, have you found a cure?”
“Yes, my queen,” he said with a bow.
“You don’t have to do this," I stated. "This wasn’t the time for all this. Tell me, what should I do to find the cure, please?”
