Cleo POV:
I don’t like the way Valenzano is treating the rouges it's borderline barbaric. One of them is a child for Goddess's sake. I want to know why they were going for the pups and how did they know where there were. I asked for some water and give it to the boy and ask the guard to bring food for the prisoners. Jazz helps me feed that rouges that are not knocked out while Valenzano and West watch us. As we feed them, I start to ask questions.
“Why did you attack?', I asked the rouges.
“We were ordered to attack as a distraction to take pups”, the young rouge said.
“Why take our pups I am sure you can make your own”, Jazz asks.
“Mostly males are rouges, not women, we have three female rouges in our pack which is not enough to procreate without problems”, the rouge says.
