[Morgan’s POV]
I stared down at Caesar as he slept, somewhat peaceful even in the cramped bed, though it was probably because I was shoved into the wall. Before knocking out, he somehow managed to throw on a pair of clean clothes, but looking at it now, I'm pretty sure they were Hudson's.
"Caesar." I nudged his arm but he didn't even move an inch.
After constantly shaking his body, his eyes slipped open blearily. "What?"
"Wake up, I'm bored." His head lulled to the side and his eyes squinted at me. I'm sure he understood what I meant since he sat up right after, I've been awake for the past hour and I'm anxious that you're mad at me so please just wake up and show me that we're okay.
He slid his hands under my shirt and dropped his head on my shoulder, moaning sleepily. "I'm tired."
"I know." I scratched his back lightly, running my hand up and down while he slowly started to wake up.
After a few minutes of him silently becoming more aware of his surroundings, he circled his arms around my waist and rolled me over. Shoving his knee between my legs, he stared down at me with his arm extended right next to my head, pressing into the pillow and holding his weight.
I don't know how long he just stared at me, but it felt like a lifetime as his hooded eyes freely roamed my face before wandering down. "I wanna touch you." He finally decided.
"Okay." And then I was reaching up to pull him down, circling my arms around his neck and guiding him down to connect our lips. We didn't kiss for long, still aware of just waking up. Instead, he trailed his lips down and kissed my jaw, gently nudging my head to the side to expose my neck more.
His teeth grazed my skin, softly nipping at my neck and sucking over just a moment later. I could feel his hands push my shirt up as they slid further up my torso. "Babe?"
He hummed in question right next to my ear, making me shiver. "s**t. Are we done talking about it?"
I let out a shaky breath when he sucked on my earlobe. "Yeah, I said I'd drop it."
"You-" He licked my ear, making me tilt my head away and shy from the touch. "You don't have to just drop it."
His hand came up to cup my face and his fingers tickled at the ear he wasn't teasing between his teeth. "Your ears are so sensitive." I could feel how hot they were, red and sensitive from all the attention. "I don't have anything to say, do you?"
I chewed at my lip as he pressed his palm into my chest, fingers teasing and pressing into my n****e. "I'm gonna talk to him again. Do you want to be there?" He shook his head while I slid my hand into his hair.
I tilted my head up when he trailed his lips back up my jaw and he pressed them against my mouth in a chaste kiss. "No, it's okay."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I trust you." He took my shirt off. "And he pisses me off, I don't wanna see him."
I unbuttoned his jeans and slid my hand past the rough material. "We're good?"
He leaned down and gave me another kiss. "Yeah, we're good."
[Harrison’s POV]
"That's a lot of food."
Chet leered over my shoulder, staring at the pile of food that I was trying to balance on one plate. "It's not just for me."
"For me?"
I shook my head and moved the plate away when he went to take a piece of french toast. "You already ate~ It's for Morgan and Caesar."
He frowned while following me up the stairs sadly. "You're leaving?"
"They didn't come down for food so I'm gonna bring it to them." It's been lingering in my head, the look on both of their faces when they came inside last night.
"I wish I had a girlfriend." He sighed, ears droopy and tail unmoving. "But I'm too tall."
"Chet!" I heard Mia's scream before she was bounding down the hall. She jumped on Chet's back, laughing when he didn't even budge while Audrey trailed a few steps behind her. "We're gonna go swimming! You coming?"
He instantly perked up and I had to move out of the way so his tail wouldn't smack me. "Sure!" And then he was frowning again. "But Harrison's busy."
Audrey rolled her eyes. "People are gonna think we're a cult if we're always attached by the hip."
Mia's ears twitched. "Hanging around hybrids is just more fun. Humans smell weird. Plus, we don't know anyone else here! We have to stick together!"
Chet nodded in agreement, bobbing his head up and down quickly. "Mhm, what she said."
Audrey hummed, not totally disagreeing as she started to pull them down the stairs. "We're gonna be by the lake if you need us."
I somehow managed to wave at them and not spill any food. "Have fun." And then I was padding down the hallway, walking past the room Chet forced me to sleep in, and stopped in front of theirs.
The door was open but I still knocked, feeling somewhat shy after not seeing them for a while. Morgan glanced up from his phone and slid onto the floor since he was hanging off the bed for some reason. "My baby~" He sat up and beckoned me closer.
"Um," I sat down in the middle of the floor awkwardly, "I brought you food. You didn't come down to eat so I thought you might be hungry.." I trailed off, voice growing smaller as I finished.
Morgan grinned and reached over to cup my cheek. His fingers tickled my cheek as he leaned over and pressed his lips to mine. I let out a soft noise, not expecting it but welcoming his soft lips eagerly. "Thank you." He pecked my lips again and squeezed my chin in appreciation before returning to his previous spot across from me.
A few minutes later, I saw Morgan glance past me before there was a weight on my back. My head tilted up to see Caesar freshly showered with his hair still damp. I blinked at him as he sat behind me. "Hi."
His arms circled my waist before he was pulling me back into his chest so we were flush against each other. "Hey."
"Harrison brought us food~"
Caesar peered around me while Morgan chewed on a piece of bacon. "Did you?" He dropped a kiss to my shoulder and reached out to take one of his own. "Thank you."
They ate quickly, probably starving from skipping breakfast and having a late lunch. "We missed you." Caesar rubbed my stomach after letting his hand fall under my shirt. "Chet's been hogging you too much." He kissed my neck, making my shiver. "It's making me jealous."
"I missed you too." I mumbled softly and wondered if I should ask what happened last night for things to look so tense between them. They looked fine now though, like last night never happened, so I decided against it.
Morgan agreed. "You're too likable. Knock it off."
I squirmed as Caesar's lips trailed down. "I don't know how." He squeezed his arms around me and gently sucked at my neck. "Ah."
"You're ours, so tell him to start sharing." My shoulders hunched as his voice tickled my neck, making me feel sensitive as he pressed another kiss to my shoulder.
Morgan picked the plate up and set it on the only actual surface in the room before sifting through his bag. "What're you looking for?" I asked curiously after he dumped his bag out and frowned.
"My swim shorts." He tilted his head in thought. "I think I forgot them."
"You can borrow one of mine." I offered, already going to stand up but Caesar was adamant on keeping me pressed to him. "Caesar." I squirmed around until he sighed heavily, as if it were the most inconvenient thing, and let go. "Are we going swimming? Should I wear one too?"
"Mhm, I'm making you and Caesar go."
"I want to." I easily agreed while Caesar mumbled how he just showered.
"Don't care, get up."
"So demanding~" Still, Caesar pulled himself up and went to change while I went back to the room I was staying in.
I was only gone a minute before I came back and presented a pair of swim shorts to Morgan. "Here."
After the three of us changed, my tail started wagging excitedly as we walked down the trail. I could see Chet standing on the dock, soaking wet and flinging water everywhere from how fast his tail was wagging.
Audrey held her hands up and whined when water got in her eyes. "Calm down!"
"I can't help it!"
"Your friends are cute." Morgan commented and my lips pursed.
"No they're not."
He glanced at me before his lips twitched up. "No? Just you then?" I nodded and he laughed softly, easily agreeing as we walked on the dock.
Chet and Mia greeted me excitedly. "Harrison!" I startled when Chet picked me up and held me to his chest, making my feet dangle. "You're back!"
"Um," I wheezed, "Please put me down."
When my feet were touching the dock again, Caesar slid his arm around my shoulder and stared at Chet blankly. "He's mine."
"Huh?!" His mouth dropped open. "What do you mean yours?"
Caesar drummed his fingers on my chest casually. "I mean, he's mine."
Chet stared at him, lips pulled into a frown while looking him up and down. "You're too short." Caesar bristled and turned around, guiding me along with him. "Hey! Tell me how tall you are!"
Morgan patted Caesar's arm when we were in the water and further away from everyone else. "There, there. It's gonna be okay."
"He called me short, babe."
"I know." Morgan rubbed his arm. "We'll get through this together."
"I have never felt so disrespected. Me? Short?" Caesar stared at me. "Do I look short?"
I shook my head, ears flopping this way and that. "You're a lot taller than us."
Morgan nodded. "Honestly, my feelings are a little hurt too."
"He's just like that since you're tall." I explained. "He likes being the tallest so he feels like you're competition."
"Oh?" Caesar seemed pleased with this. "Is that so?"
"You're such a child." Morgan snorted.
While floating around, I mainly clung onto their backs. After panicking once when I let go of Caesar, he turned to me worriedly. "Can you not swim?"
I felt my face go red. "I can, it's just-" my ears twitched embarrassedly, "I'm scared of deep water."
He hummed in understanding and wrapped his arms around me, yanking me towards him while I squeaked. "Hold on tight then."
"Are you sure?" I wrapped my arms around his neck. "It's okay?"
"Of course." He slid his hands down and squeezed my ass, smirking after I startled. "It's definitely okay." We didn't venture out further than where he couldn't stand and he was mindful not to splash the water after I said I didn't like getting my ears wet.
"Who's that?" I tried to be discreet as I gestured over to the dock where Morgan had swam out to. He was standing with a man similar to Caesar's height.
"One of his friends."
I felt a little sulky while watching them but tried to push it away. This is their senior trip, of course they should spend it with their friends. Still, even as I tried to remind myself of that, I couldn't help but want to spend time with both of them after being away for a bit.
"..They look friendly."
Caesar's lips quirked up as he glanced back to me. "It's pretty cute how territorial you are."
"I'm not territorial!" I quickly denied. "..Am I?"
"A little." He admitted and my lips pursed as I sulked some more. "It's cute though, I like it."
"I can't help it." My cheeks puffed out. "It's my animal instinct. I don't like when you smell like other people."
He slipped his hands down to cup the back of my thighs. "You wanna keep us all for yourself, huh? How greedy~" When I whined quietly, he squeezed my thighs. "It's okay, I'm greedy too."
I peered at him. "Really?"
"Mhm, I'm gonna have to hide you away from Chet soon." He smirked. "I might just have to put a leash on you." My stomach swooped from the thought.
To hide how flushed I was getting, I turned back to watch Morgan. "Are they good friends?"
"Yeah, they've been friends since they were kids."
"Best friends?"
"Who knows." He shrugged. "Morgan has, like, five best friends."
I frowned. "He's that popular?"
Caesar rolled his eyes, as if thinking about every situation where they'd been interrupted because another friend wanted to say hi. "Yeah, he gets along with everyone."
I patted his shoulders, frown firmly set on my lips. "You have to put a leash on him, not me."
"He'd bite me." His eyes were dull as he looked back to Morgan's friend. "I don't like him either but we gotta play nice since they're friends. Let's just talk s**t about him when Morgan's not around."
My lips pulled into a smile before I laughed. "You really don't like him, huh?"
"I want to pummel his head into the ground but Morgan said no, so I have to behave."
I couldn't even make out his features from this distance but it didn't matter to me. "He's ugly."
"I know, right? Morgan's hot as f**k, he can do so much better."
"We're better!"
"Damn right we are." He started walking out of the water, making me look up in confusion.
"Where are we going?"
"We're gonna go make out." He declared firmly. "But Declan looks like he's gonna kill me any second so we gotta go somewhere else."
