AMARA’S POV “On the table. Spread your legs.” The words dropped heavy, low, and dangerous. My body stiffened. My skin burned from the whip, from his stare, from the heat crawling inside me. Still, I climbed onto the desk like he commanded, my wrists bound, my body shaking. I parted my thighs, slow, shame painting me red. The cool air kissed me there, making me shiver harder. I wanted to close them, to hide, but I couldn’t. His eyes pinned me in place, sharp and unreadable. Then his hand reached into his drawer again. He pulled out something dark.
