MY DEPARTURE

My retrieval happened four days later. The Royal Beta Trevor, showed up with seven royal guards and Alpha Brett Davis, along with his Beta and best friend Peter Parros. They arrived early Christmas Eve morning and gained entry. They forced the guards to let them in without notifying anyone.
Royal Beta Trevor sent two men to get me from my small house located far away from the pack house but close by the border. No location any Alpha would want his Luna or wife to reside in. The other two men were sent to search the Alpha’s quarters for any trace of me, as well as in the pack house. In addition, the two other men were to locate the Alpha and bring him to Royal Beta Trevor. The last remaining guard stood by his side as backup.
They didn’t find any real trace of me in the packhouse, only in my Luna office. Which supported my claim because I ate all my meals alone in my Luna office or in my house. I used one door to come and go out of the pack house, and it was located close to my office. I never dared to stay around long at the pack house. I would only go to the Alpha’s office or to the Beta’s office if I had to do so.
They found me in my house alone. I was ordered to get dressed and pack up my belongings. I was informed that I was leaving and that my request had been granted.
It seemed Lady Luck was on my side for a change because when they went to Alpha's suite. Alpha Chancellor was alone in the suite. They found no trace of me at all in the suite. They could only detect Beta ,his lover Lady Amanda Falcon, and His Gamma and Delta. As luck would have it, Alpha Chancellor and Lady Amanda had went out to a Christmas holiday party with our human employees as well as pack members. It seems towards the end of the night she got a little too flirtatious with other men, and they got into a big argument. He stormed off, leaving her alone to make her own way home.
So him being found alone further supported my claims.
As Royal Beta Trevor waited for our arrival, he summoned more pack members to join him outside the pack house. He began to question them as to where I live and if they had ever seen us interact as a couple. Again my story was confirmed. He asked if I was ever allowed to leave the pack grounds alone. As well as if I do the Luna duties. Again my story was confirmed.
No denying the facts. Because facts are facts, especially when being forced to speak by a Royal Beta.
I quickly dressed and had them grab my luggage. I was already packed.
By the time I arrived, Alpha Chancellor had just arrived. “Beta Trevor, why are you here? I was not informed that you were coming! What do I owe the pleasure? “
“Surprise visits are good from time to time. They keep packs on their feet. Especially ones that have not been honest with the crown!” answered Royal Beta Trevor.
“What?! Who would be foolish enough to deceive the Royal Family? “ countered Alpha Chancellor.
“That’s why I am here to find out? Perfect timing Luna Falynn, please come forth!” replied Royal Beta Trevor.
" No! What do you need to talk to her about?" demanded Alpha Chancellor.
"Alpha Chancellor, control yourself and don’t interfere. You will have your time to speak. “ commanded Royal Beta Trevor.
At that moment, I felt Alpha Chancellor trying to mindlink me. But I already had my block up and he couldn’t get through it. I didn’t want to hear his threats or promises. This was my chance to leave, and I was taking it!
“Luna Falynn, do you stand by everything you wrote to your letter to the Alpha King?" questioned Royal Beta Trevor.
"Yes, Royal Beta Trevor! Thank you for coming so quickly!" I answered, trying to sound happy but as meek as possible.
"Well, when the Alpha King's favorite little cousin reaches out to inform that she isn’t being treated properly, we have a duty to act." conveyed Royal Beta Trevor. I immediately heard growling from Alpha Chancellor.
“Besides, the Alpha King had just inquired the other day about you and if there were any news about a possible pregnancy. I was forced to tell him no and now I know why.” stated Beta Trevor choosing to ignore the growls from Alpha Chancellor.
“Royal Beta Trevor! My wife and I are trying, now in fact! We just wanted to take the first year to get to know each other." declared Alpha Chancellor.
“Do I look like a fool to you! Do you think I don’t know a virgin when one is standing in front of my face? Do you think I can’t recognize an unmarked and unmated she wolf when I see one?”shouted Beta Trevor.
“I can explain! I promise there is a logical explanation! “uttered Alpha Chancellor.
Everyone could sense Royal Beta Trevor's anger rising. Suddenly, the wind shifted and I heard a car door open. I was hit with the most amazing smell ever. I looked up and locked eyes with the most handsome man I had ever seen in my life. I was unable to stop my wolf from screaming the words” Mate! Mate! Mate!”
Before I knew it, I was in his arms and he shouted “Mine! Mine! Mine” Then he kissed me so passionately in front of everyone that I was lost in his kiss and his touch.
“Kindly take your hands and lips off my wife and Luna!” and an evil smirk went all over his face and he stopped kissing me long enough to look over at Alpha Chancellor and asked,” Why should I stop?! When I heard you don’t know what to do with her or are incapable?!"
" What the hell is that supposed to mean? She belongs to me!" voiced Alpha Chancellor.
"Well! Actually, no I don’t! I have been a divorced woman for the past 4 days!" I proclaimed, beaming up at my fate mate. He smiled at me.
"What nonsense are you talking about now! And you wonder why I don’t dare take you anywhere!“ disclosed Alpha Chancellor.
I quickly pulled out my divorce paperwork with both of their signatures and the official pack seal along with the signature of a judge courtesy of a friend.
I handed it to Royal Beta Trevor. “You will see that it is an official document and everything is in order. He signed it and so did I, free of coercion. We both walk away with what we walked into the marriage with. I am not requesting any money, land and or properties. I don’t want anything from him but my freedom. I don’t want any reminders of my horrible time here. I don’t even want his name there is no honor in it.“
"I didn’t sign anything and you are not going a damn place. You belong to me!“ declared Alpha Chancellor.
"Yes she is! She is going home with me! She is my fate mate and, since you failed to properly claim her as well as was foolish enough to sign a divorce agreement. Are we done here? Beta Peter, take your Luna to the vehicle and make sure to get her luggage." ordered Alpha Brett Davis.
Just then, Beta Ross and his sister Lady Amanda as well as the Gamma and Delta families showed up. "Please take your hands off our Luna!" demanded Beta Ross.
I was quickly placed in the vehicle as I watched the two Betas fight and the two Alphas.
