He was laying next to a sleeping Addi, his hand was resting on her belly, their small one was showing for the first time. She had not yet seen the slight distension of her belly, was sleeping soundly in their bed. Though he’d been woken up by her rolling off him, and then she’d been unable to lay still at all.
He had watched her in her sleep, curious as to why she was suddenly all unsettled, when normally she slept so very soundly on top of him or draped across him. Then he’d seen her hand moved to her belly and rub it slightly, and had realized as he looked at it, their small one was growing.
Had seen the tiniest of distention to her normally flat belly, she was naturally thin though she ate plenty, and they made sure she was eating more now than a few weeks ago. Just her natura
